Material:-

  • Gram flour – 1 cup
  • Curd – 1/2 cup
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Ginger chopped – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon
  • Oil – 2 spoons
  • Green Coriander – 1 teaspoon
  • Coconut(chopped)- 2 spoons
  • Sesame – 1 teaspoon
  • Mustard – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Green chilli – 2 pieces

How to make Khandvi Recipe

  • First of all, add gram flour, curd, salt, ginger, turmeric and water in the grinder and make a paste.
  • After that turn on the gas and pour the batter into the pan. And keep stirring until it thickens.
  • When it becomes thick, remove it and turn off the gas.
  • After that place it on the back side of a plate. Similarly, apply 2-3 plates on three plates. And let the ends cool down.
  • When it cools down, cut it lengthwise with a knife.
  • After that wrap it round with the help of hands.
  • Make all the balls like this.
  • Then turn on the gas and heat oil in a ladle and add mustard seeds, sesame seeds and green chillies to it and prepare tadka.
  • After that put it on Khandvi with the help of a spoon.
  • Then add coconut and coriander on it and our Khandvi recipe is ready.

Suggestion:-

  1. It is good to have fresh gram flour for making Khandvi.
  2. When serving on a plate, keep the ghee covered.
  3. Cook the solution while stirring continuously and after it becomes thick, immediately spread it in the plate.
